The house was hand crafted in the early 1950's by one of Bozeman's leading log cabin builders.
Over the past several years we have restored the house to its original roof line and to its original configuration. A
new green metal roof, new interior walls of knotty pine, new hardwood floors, new kitchen fixtures, floor and counter tops
have been added along with a new bathroom. New knotty pine doors were added and all but a few of the original windows
have been replaced with modern double pane windows. The house has new underground electrical service and
has been completely rewired. The sinks, shower, water pump and hot water heater are also new. The main part of the house
is heated with a new Rinnai propane gas heater. The bedrooms have individually controlled electric stoves simulating
cozy fireplaces.
